Phulkari refers to a very special and traditional type of embroidery that originates in Punjab. Phulkari translates as floral work and it's this colourful type of thread work of flowers, motifs and geometrical shapes.

Zari is a type of thread made of fine gold or silver used in traditional Indian clothing, Zari is quite commonly seen in brocade silk fabric.
